A Lifetime of Knowledge and Experience

   Tony Joyce Curriculum Vitae

My knowledge and experience is broad and deep.

After a four-year tour of duty as a Pharmacy Technician in the Strategic Air Command, United States Air Force, I graduated from Syracuse University, attending the prestigious S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.

My 30-year Wall Street career began in New York in 1982. Throughout my formal corporate career I coordinated all aspects of sales, marketing, strategic planning and relationship management with marquis firms such as Paine Webber, Merrill Lynch, The Guardian Life, Wells Fargo, The Prudential, Fortis and many others.

Ultimately I established my own Registered Investment Advisor firm as the Designated Principal.

I eventually expanded my professional advisory services to include corporate communications, research projects, business plan conception and implementation, strategic planning, public relations, executive coaching, professional writing, Internet and technology projects, the creation and implementation of corporate events, sales campaigns for financial services and technology firms, investment oversight, due diligence, Securities and Exchange Commission compliance consulting, capital introduction services, the creation of a successful eldercare agency, various golf industry activities, and extensive philanthropic work.

In the middle of my career I assumed financial responsibility and caregiving for both my Mother and older brother.  I made this decision with pleasure and without regret, though it was certainly a financial hardship and disrupted my  career.

My comprehensive experience with all aspects of corporate event management and charitable fundraising events at upscale venues and golf resorts - all over the U.S. and abroad - dates from 1983 while based at Paine Webber Headquarters in New York.  With several decades of corporate event experience and knowledge, I ultimately created a golf & conference event advisory service named HedgeTour. I provided comprehensive golf tournament and conference services to corporations and charities, with an initial focus on the Hedge Fund industry.

I have volunteered my time in support of several different charitable and community organizations in New York and Florida. These efforts included Little League President, Boys and Girls Club Unit Board President, Hedge Funds Care and the Miami City Ballet. I was the founding Chairman of Shake-A-Leg Miami’s Blue Tee Day, a fund-raising golf tournament held in conjunction with the Royal Caribbean Classic, a Senior PGA Tour event held on Key Biscayne, FL. I also served on the VIP Committee for the 1999 Super Bowl XXXIII Host Committee in Miami, including the Super Bowl VIP Golf tournament committee.

My business and pleasure travel has included Europe, the Caribbean and 46 U.S. states, including Hawaii. I played fullback during a nine-year amateur Rugby career, and I am a life-long golfer.
